Postdoctoral researcher Fabio Cristiano and Associate Fellow James Shires will be presenting papers at the 14th Pan-European Conference on International Relations: The Power Politics of Nature, taking place online from 13-17 September 2021.

Fabio Cristiano and James Shires will be presenting "The Solarwinds hack as post-post-truth: mapping and critiquing the epistemological foundations of cybersecurity" during the panel Security between Fiction and Truth (15 September, 11:00-12:30).

During the panel The "Making" of Cyberspace: Between Technology, Practice and Expertise (17 September, 09:00-10:30), Fabio Cristiano will present his paper "Towards a Ledgered Sovereignty? Distributed Cybersecurity and the Demise of National Cyberspace(s)" and James Shires and Katharine Millar present their paper "Counting chicks doesn't count: gendering cybersecurity in theory and practice".

Fabio Cristiano will also be presenting the paper "Embracing the 'adversarial cyberspace': agonistic cyber norms for antagonistic cyber conflicts" during the panel Norms in International Society: Contestations and Transformations I (16 September, 15:30-17:00), and speaking during the roundtable on The emergence of natively digital international politics (13 September, 13:30-15:00).
